Organic Dairy-Free Sparkling Water Kefir

Step 1: Select Grains

Kefir is a type of fermented beverage made using kefir ‘grains’. However, these ‘grains’ aren’t traditional grains (like rice or wheat), but rather closely related to a SCOBY (a Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast).    

Step 2: Activate

To make our water kefir, we add our water kefir grains to sugary water, where they activate, bubble and brew into a sparkling probiotic drink.

Step 3: Ferment

The grains ‘eat’ the sugar during this fermentation process. This process usually takes around two days. 

Once the sugar is spent and drink fermented (we know by doing a series of tests in-house). The culture is then separated from liquid. 

Step 4: Add Flavour

Organic fruits are added into the fermented water kefir for the flavours to develop.

Step 5: Chill

The final liquid is then transferred to tank where the kefir is quickly chilled and purged off oxygen to maintain freshness.

Step 6: Bottling

The result is a delicious gut-friendly beverage that can assist with digestive health and your immune system. Where bottles are filled and capped by our team of gut flora warriors
